Thames Farm has been home to Thames Veterinary Service since 1989. Dr. Kent Thames graduated Veterinary School from Tuskegee Institute in Alabama in 1984. Starting his career as a Mixed Animal Practitioner and now solely a Large Animal Veterinarian.
The clinic is located on Dr. Thames and his wife Amy’s farm in Fort Lawn, SC on 82 beautiful acres. The clinic allows for haul in patients and stalls for patients needing long term care and daily treatment. There are 2 fully stocked mobile veterinary units used for Farm Calls. We are ready to care of your animals.
Thames Veterinary Service services the Counties of Chester, Chesterfield, Fairfield, Kershaw, Lancaster, and York in SC and Union county in NC.
